The time has come for me to face the facts that I am never going to restore this car. Is there anyone out there that has the know-how, desire, and funds to fix this baby up?
I'll tell you what I know about it... It is a yellow 82 which I think was originally red. I haven't checked the RPO to find out the original color. It has a light grey cloth interior. It has a Viper alarm that talks... Cool but I hate it. Glass tops... apparently all original but the color.
The car runs really great! I drove it 200 miles through the Mojave desert the other day without it getting the least bit hot. The A/C works but is weak. Drives and feels really tight. The only mechanical problems I know of are leaking axle seals in the rear, and possibly a broken spring. It really squats in the rear when you put it in gear. I haven't crawled under it to verify this. The car passed CA smog test 2 weeks ago.
I just have too many projects and too little time and money. This is my first C3 and frankly I got in over my head... I'd like to get about $5000 for it if anyone is interested. Contact me here or e-mail me directly at songman@bak.rr.com .
I'll post one picture of it here and if you are interested, you can take a look at more pictures at http://www.fiero-performance.com/fiero/corvette/ . There are a coupe more pictures there... One of my C4 and one of a bada$$ C3 convertible that I like.

Thanks,
Dale

Sorry about that... There was really no need for me to do a link. I just cut all the background off and the car was the same size anyway... Thanks for the heads up!
I love the C3 and have always thought they were the sexiest Corvettes. I just have so many projects right now. And honestly, I could work on my C4 but don't have a clue about this car...
I hope someone will take it and give it the attention it deserves...
Thanks.

Looks like what I want to build into a 12-second bracket car; a decent '80-up body, and 'good' interior, too. In fact I WANT a Yellow late-C3.....
If not over 3000 miles away.......

Ron 78 asks: "What is a C4?"
A C4 is a long-wheelbase/stretch-limo Mazda RX7
(THAT'LL sure stip-up the poopie!
Repeat after me: REAL Corvettes, have fenders!!!!

Hmmmmm.... wondering if I know any truck drivers heading to the Northeast... haha
Thanks guys... I hope someone picks this thing up. It really is a nice start for a buildup.

By the way... if someone has a nice 93-up Jeep Wrangler I might be interested in a trade too... Looking for 6-cylinder, 5 speed, with air and hard top. Thanks!

About 50 new pictures for anyone who might be interested. I tried to show all the detail of the car and made sure I got anything that was wrong with it in the pictures. Ignore the dust in the pictures. I never drive the car and I didn't clean it before taking the pictures. The price is less than half of just about any other 82 Corvette that I have seen for sale. These minor problems are the reason for that. It is priced to sell because I need the room... Contact me directly if you have any questions... songman@bak.rr.com
