Forum Rules

1. To be free of ridicule and harassment.
   • Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. If you don't agree with someone on a topic, that does not give you the right to ridicule or (especially) harass that person. You are more than welcome to disagree, but express your opinion in a way that is not offensive to the other person.
   • This rule applies to the forums AND emails sent to a Vette Registry Member by a Vette Registry Member.
   • If anyone is found to be breaking this rule (1 time), their membership will be terminated! If the offending member paid for their Membership, NO REFUND of membership dues will be offered!
2. No foul or inappropriate language.
   • There are plenty of ways to express yourself strongly without using foul or inappropriate language. Try the "cussing" smiley, for instance.
   • If anyone is found to repeatedly break this rule (3 times), their membership will be terminated! If the offending member paid for their Membership, NO REFUND of membership dues will be offered!
3. No display of or reference to explicit or suggestive material.
   • Images and/or links to sites containing nudity, sexually explicit, sexually suggestive, or pornographic content will not be tolerated. This also includes domain names in e-mail addresses.
   • If anyone is found to be breaking this rule (1 time), their membership will be terminated! If the offending member paid for their Membership, NO REFUND of membership dues will be offered!
4. Valid Email Addresses and Online Access
   • Access to the Online features of Vette Registry requires that you maintain a Valid Email Address and keep your Profile updated with your Current Valid Email Address.
   • If any email that is sent to a member is returned to Vette Registry for ANY reason (invalid email address, email box full, account over quota, SPAM blocked, etc), your online access to Vette Registry may be denied. To restore your access, you must update your Profile with your Valid Current Email Address that will accept email from all Vette Registry email accounts.
5. No unauthorized posting of business advertisements
   • Posting of advertisements for any business anywhere on Vette Registry (including the forums) is not allowed except by Official Sponsors of Vette Registry.
   • NOTE: The exception to this rule is a link or text reference to a business that you are recommending to someone in response to a question. But, you may not post such references if you are in any way affiliated with the business.
   • Posting of such unauthorized advertisements (URL Links, Images, Text, etc) will be removed by Vette Registry administrative or moderating staff. A warning will be issued to the offender. If another attempt is made to post unauthorized advertisements, the offender's account will be disabled. If the offending member paid for their Membership, NO REFUND of membership dues will be offered!

6. No SPAM!
   • This rule speaks for itself.

Corvette Classifieds

• Vette Registry is not a party to any transaction. We serve solely as a platform that enables sellers to post listings and facilitates direct communication between buyers and sellers. We are not involved in any sale, negotiation, or transfer of a vehicle.
• Listing accuracy is the seller’s responsibility. Vette Registry does not verify, inspect, or warrant the accuracy, completeness, or truthfulness of any listing. All information provided in a listing is submitted entirely by the seller. Buyers are solely responsible for independently verifying any information before entering into a transaction.
• Vette Registry is not responsible for the conduct of buyers or sellers. Any disputes, misrepresentations, fraud, or other issues that arise between a buyer and seller are entirely between those parties. Vette Registry assumes no liability for the actions or omissions of any user of the Classifieds.
• Never send money without full verification. Do not wire funds, send gift cards, or transfer money to any party you have not thoroughly vetted. Be alert for common scams such as requests for payment before viewing a vehicle, overpayment schemes, or pressure to act quickly.
• Protect your personal information. Do not share financial account information, Social Security numbers, or other sensitive personal data with any buyer or seller through this platform.
• Meet safely. If you arrange an in-person meeting, choose a safe, public location—such as a police station parking lot. Many police departments offer their parking lots specifically for this purpose.
• Prohibited listings. Listings must be for Corvette vehicles only. Fraudulent listings, salvage-title misrepresentation, listings for stolen vehicles, and any other deceptive or illegal content are strictly prohibited. Vette Registry reserves the right to remove any listing at its sole discretion and to permanently ban users who violate these terms.
