WTB: L88 style hood for '80-'82

 

I need the extra clearance under the hood for the nitrous system. Plus I think they look better than the stock hood.

Well Dave, after some very deep thought, it would be like selling my first born. I just can't bring myself to do it. I rebuilt this car myself from the ground up and it has too much of my blood, sweat and tears into her. And some of my friends talked me out of it too.

 

 As for the '73....I'll get one eventually. I got very disgusted in my search. There are to many people watching "Barrett Jackson" auctions. I don't mind spending "fair" money on a "fair" car, but I do mind people trying to pawn their junk for "fair" money. I was even looking at "86-'87 Buick Grand Nationals and '73-'78 Trans Ams for awhile with the same depressing results. I really don't want to get into another major project.

 

 So back a few months ago Michele and I talked about other options. We decided that since the 2 trucks are almost paid off. Why don't we bank the money of what the truck payments added up to in the meantime and wait for the '09-'10 Camaro convertible, Impala SS (rear drive), Dodge Challenger, Shelby Mustang, to come out and buy one of these. No rust issues, no hidden problems,warranty, lots of power, good fuel economy, possibly collectors value down the road. Need I say anymore. I'm Sold!
