Looking for a cover that from what I can tell only came on the 82 Vette. Its a electrical harness cover, plastic, on the passenger side, near the hood pin, up on the firewall. In the illustrated factory manual, its GM part number 14043253. Its held on by two screws and will show the air conditioning relay switch mounted on the outside of this cover while the cover's main function looks to be protecting electrical harnesses below. Thanx!

TY Crossfire....thats the exact part!!
Now...how does one go about getting someone to fess up such a part??

I was told by more than one person that this cover was not installed on all 82's
so, making it more difficult to obtain.

Your help in locating one would be much appreciated!

I dont know if he still has any of the parts, but DaveM changed his crossfire to a ZZ4 and I doubt he kept this part intact. You may give him a PM and ask if he still has it. The FoodLion Autofair at Lowes Motor Speedway in Charlotte is in April. If you cant find one by then, give me a PM and Ill look at the used parts vendors there and see if I can pick one up for you.

Found a cover at Pacific Corvette....and from the looks of it, they've got tons of parts!

Its costing me 35.00 smackers plus 6.50 shipping by the Postal Soccer Team!

Far out!!
I have some catalogs from PC...they seem to have a ton of stuff. I think they are associated with Corvette Central, too, but I ain't sure of that.
Glad you were able to find the cover for a really sweet price!
