Ok, here is that idiot again. He has this car listed plus a bunch of others.
The newly painted makes me think that is was the red one that he tried to sell me and said he would have it painted yellow back to it's orginal color. I just don't trust this guy but might go take a look anyway this weekend. The car above is pretty much what I want. After looking at the books, I think I would like a 78 - 81 but if a nice 68 - 77 comes along, I ain't turning it down.

I would stay away from that '75 sounds like it was made to just look good for a quick sale. As far as the '80 it looks to be real nice. The statment in the ad "some point in time" makes me kinda laugh, so I wonder if there is any paperwork to back up the history and what has been done to the car? You say it is the same guy as the '75? If you look at the '80 you need to really check it out good and be careful. Good luck.

Me... again.
Ok, I am thinking about calling this guy and driving out there tonight and looking at this. He is about 1 1/2 hours away. What do you guys think.

Well it is black and that is very good
, although it sounds like a lot of engine mods there. With the engine built as the ad says it might not be so good on gas either. "Selling due to illness in family" beware of this statement. The price is what I think is low for all the ad says it has. Be careful with this one.

I really like the looks of this latest car even though I prefer the earlier C3s over the later ones. This looks like a great driver and the price seems reasonable. I think it is worth a look.

I just can't stop posting can I.

I talked with the guy and here are the bad points but I think for the price, I can pay to have some of these fixed.
He said it looks like the guy before him tried to paint the bumper with the wrong paint and it is flaking a little bit. The glass t-tops are smashed from someone breaking in and stealing the radio. He has white t-tops for it now. He also has the original bracket if I want to put an original radio back in it. There is a/c but it isn't charged and I don't know if he is even sure if it is working. It has NO emissions. It has straight pipes on it and says it is a bit loud, which is OK for me. In WI once it passes a certain year, it doesn't go through emissions. The interior is in decent shape but there is wear on one of the seats. It is a L82 and he has had it for 5 years and has put 5,000 on it. It has tilt and power windows but the locks aren't working now.
He wants $7800 or obo. For that price if the frame is good, I can have the bumper and t-tops painted plus any other little stuff done to it. I asked him about the frame and he said he really didn't know. He did have a friend that was in to Corvettes look at it last year and said it was in good shape. He said that I knew what I was looking for.
What the hell. It is a little less than a 2 hour drive. I have to finally look at one of them right and this price is really good if it is in decent shape. So wish me luck.

Good luck! Remember $7800 OR best offer. Start lower and maybe meet in the middle if you like it. 
I know the voices aren't real, but they have some pretty cool ideas...

I'm about 45 minutes away from Oak Lawn and know 79s pretty good if you want an extra pair of eyes.
