It HAD to have a paint job. The engine was very dirty and the whole car needed a lot of clean up. Pretty much it was orginal and not taken care of very well. I am sure glad Mike was there. He pointed out some things to me. Oh, also he said it was worth $8,000 maybe $9,000 tops and they wanted $12,000.
Oh well, I still have the orange one to look at tomorrow and I haven't looked at any ads today.

Lets just say I am not holding my breath.
No I didn't drive it. I felt like I was wasting Mike's time as it was.

I'm not crazy about the custom silver one, they had to cut those front fenders back for that 80's style nose and not stock wheels, Blue one is ok, but the orange one is bold.

No, not at all! Wasting time is getting home and watching the White Sox lose to KC!
Had a good day. Wife had fun taking the ride out, lunch, seeing all the $$$$ cars at NicKeys and meeting and talking to new people.
Too bad the 78SA was so neglected. Paint was bad. Undercarriage had not a speck of paint on anything, all rust. Rust in the interior. Looked to be stored in a damp environment. Brakes looked original and would probably need immediate attention. And on and on. Sad sight!
What's the point of a low mile original if it need to be restored?
Curious to see what it bids to on ebay. And wonder what the winner will think when they see it!
