I am looking for a set of rocker panels in very good to excellent condition. These must be originals with the tab on it. This is for a 72 with 34000 miles on it and must match the excellent condition of the rest of my car.

In addition, I am looking for the original seat shims, the rectangular style. If you haven't seen them, don't be surprised since most folks threw them away. I have the round, washer style.

Gary what do mean when you say it must have the tab on it. I have seen that before and was wondering what it meant. Thanks Chuck

Rocker panels that fit 70 through 73 (perhaps later years - just don't know) had a small aluminum tab that a small nut fits into and secures the front of the rocker panel to a small corresponding fiberglass tab on the body. The repro panels do not have this tab and many folks don't care because it can't be seen unless you are on your back, laying on the ground. In addition, the fiberglass tab on the body of the car is often broken so there is nothing to bolt the panel to.

You can tell if your car had/has then by going to the front of the rocker panel and feeling for either the metal tab or the fiberglass tab. I don't think 77's had them, I just am not positive on this.
