Vette(s): #1 -1969 Corvette Coupe Riverside Gold, black interior,MN,A/C,350/350,PS,PB,window cranks.
#2 -2000 C5, black/black, 6 sp, Bose system & lots of buttons.
All advise above is true, but no matter how hard you look, there WILL be something that will break sooner or later and there's always something to do to them.

I'm thinking up to 25k, but depending on the situation I'd be willing to pay more.

The Augst issue of corvette enthusiast has their 2008 price guide.I think that you can go online to see it also. It's volume11 issue 8.Here what they say for: base convrtible for 70 (1)10625(2)19000(3)38000,for 71 (1)10425(2)18600(3)37225.*1-fair,2-good,3-excl.Remember that these are only a guide, and like I said before take your time and check it out . GOOD LUCK ON YOUR HUNT.

25K can buy a very nice Vette but your looking for a '70 or '71 convert w/4speed the value has gone up on these and it's summer time. Just do not be in any hurry looking, do thorough checking and researching and you may find one that you know is right for you. Beware of one with a great price that needs what appears to be little work, and also new paint (resale red & cover-up paint). Hope you find what you are looking for, good luck!
Check out www.usedcorvettesforsale.com I saw a '70 Convert 350/4 Spd Red/Tan 23K in PA #24366, and also a'71 Convert 350/4 Spd Red/Black 27+K in PA #23068, and many more there.
