Vette(s): 1970 convertible with 99 LS1 engine and 6 speed transmission
Looking for a set of hooker side pipe headers. Don't need the side tubes and don't care if it is big or small block. Any condition. Let me know what you have laying around.

I gotta ask a dumb question. Why doesn't it matter if they are big or small block? The conversion sounds awesome. Do pics and post them. I am hearing more and more about dropping LS1s into older Vettes.

I am going to have to cut them where they turn upward to meet the head and make custom primaries to fit the LS1 engine. Since I will be using 1 3/4" primaries, it doesn't matter if they step to 1 7/8 (small block) or 2 1/8 (big block). They will be Jet-hot coated once welded so condition does not matter either.

I knew you had to have a good reason, I just could not figure it out.
Thanks.
