I accidentally cracked my DS T-Top and would like to replace it with the same. Mirrored glass from '79 vette marked Blue Dot 15 M1131. Anyone willing to part with one or both in excellent to mint condition, please let me know. yippie4 at yahoo dot com  Thumbs Up

I too am in the market for a drivers side ORIGINAL mirrored T for my '78 Silver Anniversary.  The after market glass does not match, AT ALL!!!  Thanks and God Bless!

Vette(s): 1982 C3 Collectors Edition 44000 miles, sat in the sun most of its life, My wife purchased it for me for Father's Day in 2007 from her girlfriend that had it for 19 years. It is on the road again. I'm retired but it is now my daily driver.
I sent both of your requests to Steve Allen vetsteve@AOL.com.  He is a lifetime member but does not get on a lot anymore.  He owns a C3/C4 small junkyard here in San Diego. 

I will let you guys know what he comes back with.  You can contact him yourself if you want.  He had a set of original 82 Collector glass tops when I need them. That was a real find for me.  I traded him my two mismatching tops plus cash for the two correct ones.

M1131 t-tops aren't cheap. This is due to finding a matching hue. The sun faded the blue tint and since some cars sat outside and some sat in a garage the fade factor is different. 

I had the same issue years ago. Cracked D.S top and a good P.S. top. I wound up buying a set of black Galaxy glass tops from a guy named Derek. He owns CorvetteTtops.com.

When your shopping around for a top be sure to check with some of our Supporting Vendors. I personally would stay away from the Acrylic paneled tops. They tend to scratch easy unless you are super careful with them. 

Btw, I sold the passenger side M1131 top on ebay about 10 years ago and got $960. Shocked I couldn't believe it. Darn near paid for my new set of tops.

    still looking for 79 T-tops  windshield glass in fiberglass.   I just bought I new camera dig now must learn  to upload in comp sow I can send pics    dwa175   glass  LOF has 79 date code on glass.
