Three C3’s in my area

I know of three C3's for sale in my area. If anyone is intrested, post a reply and I'll check them out. One is a big block, 4speed.

Micki, They are all in the N. Nevada area. The big block is a '73 with a 454 and 4 speed. tilt and tel wheel, factory air and elec. windows. He's asking 15k. The 80 is a L-82, mirror t-tops, driver. He's asking 6.5k, may be gone already, has interested looker. The third one, I see it when I take my pup out for a run. I'll stop and ask about it, it has a 4 sale sign in the windshield and is in the guy's driveway. This one has a Firebird shaker scoop molded in the hood thou.

I may be interested in the 73 if it is a coupe. What color is it and what is the overall conditon.

[/QUOTE] Thanks for the info!   Check out the one in the guy's driveway if you don't mind.  I don't know what year it is and the Firebird scoop sounds weird, but if the rest of it seems pretty good.....shoot, I could race it.

The '73 is gone and the 80 is still around. Mick, I'll stop at the guy's house this week and ask him about the one with the scoop.

Mick and all interested parties. I stopped and checked out the one in the guy's driveway. It's a '78 Silver Ann. edition. Cosmetically it is poor. There are some fiberglass issues to repair, but the body is all there, just some cracks and a spot punched out in the passenger door. Not a real big hole, but just the same. The interior is very bad, needs it all. He tells me that the rear has the normal issue, with the clutches. It looks like the original engine, but I'd have to check that for sure, owner states it is rebuilt. Has side pipes on it, but disconnected and new exhaust, factory style. He has a steering column for it, states the one in it is loose. Windshield is cracked, rear window lools good. Didn't crawl under to look at the frame. He states he has asked a gent the does a lot of vette work regarding the price and the gent told him it was worth about what he's asking. His price is $ 2,950.00.

Man, I've been lookin' at a couple of '78's.  Is it a 4 speed?  The rear has the normal issue.....with the clutches???  What's up with that?  Sounds like it should be worth $2,000.  I guess it runs, huh?  If it's a NV car, it's frame should be ok, but it doesn't hurt to double check.  How old is the owner?  Thanks David!
