Vette(s): 1974, 454 with 4 on the floor, matching numbers.
yup...I thought that's whut I was sayin! If you're refering to the peice that goes across the top(left/right) of the windshield, and then back to the rear in the middle, then yes, that is different.
What condition are the red striped wheels in? I'd be interested if they are in good shape, PM sent.

I don't know if the T-Top frame (stainless) (the one that you see when the tops are off) would fit my 74, but if they're in really nice condition I need them.
Does anyone know if they are the same size ?
Yes...and no.
The tops and the trim(for the "t" bar) are quite different. The '80s cars don't even have much stainless trim up there anyway.
Now I'm really confused Confused. Joel, are you saying that the 78 & 74 are quite different from each other Question
I've got a real nice spare but now I don't know what year it fits. How can I tell?

Are you not intrested in selling the whole car? I have heard no mention of that option. Someone may be really intrested in a project car. Is the vin number really for a Pace car as there are a lot of wanna bees out there.
