Hi I am jeremy.

I am looking for the front core support for my car. My car is a 1974 Stingray. The company that deals with the part has a 6 month back order and the bottom of mine is starting to get bad and i want to replace ASAP. anyone that has this part or knows where to go please let me know.

Are you talking about the radiator support ? If so, I got mine from DeWitts. www.dewitts.com Great guy to do business with. Perfect fit too, I also have a 74.

Guessing the support between the two frame horns - goes underneath the radiator support? ( I beam thingy )?

Or the actual radiator core support ( U shape thingy )?

Core support- well this is not for the faint hearted.

Frame cross member is easy.

Paragon has them, if you're looking for a radiator core support. Not cheap, but a good used one will be hard to come by any cheaper, I think. '69-'76 will fit, but may require some minor "tweaking" for the shroud brackets. I have one for an '81, but it wouldn't work, anyway.

Vette(s): 1976 coupe with a custom body and a 396 big block with nitrous installed. Runs great!!

E bay has one for a big block. Item # 4581249896 for $50.00 at present bid. If this is what you need you better hurry only about 12 hrs left as of 1:00 am EST 10/15/05
