GMS Price on new C6 Vettes!

GMS price is the employee discount price for GM employees, and certain relatives of the employees. The price is determined by GM, and dealers have the choice to sell new Vettes at GMS or not.
For example, there is an ad in the local paper for a new C6 coupe at a Detroit area Chevy dealer. MSRP is $47,060. GMS price is $39,926. Savings of $7,134!

Only the coupes are available for GMS purchase. Chevrolet does not allow convertibles for GMS pricing. They did for a short while but stopped. Only some dealerships will do it.

YOU CANNOT FIND ANY DEALER TO DO GMS ON A VETTE!!!
THEY ARE NOT ALLOWED TO BY GENERAL MOTORS!!!
That was what we were saying above.

From time to time GM allows their dealers to sell new Vettes at GMS price.

For example, in February of '01, a suburban Detroit area Chevy dealer had 4 new Z06 Vettes available at GMS. I bought one since I was eligible due to a relative. Saved about $7,000!

As of August 6th, General Motors is not allowing GMS pricing on any Corvette coupes, convertibles or Z06's. This is subject to change at any time. We should be getting our 1st shipment of Z06's in a months time.
