I would like to find the complete fiberglass rear section (from doors back) from a frontend wrecked C3 to build a trailer to tow behind my 69 (only need the body part not the tank or drive train).must be priced right.

We are currently parting out an '80 and an '82. The body from either of them could be available in a few weeks. We get $500 from the firewall back. Mississippi is sure a long way to pay for freight! But you could take a nice vacation here. The temperature is above zero (barely).

I'm a southern boy -they aint no nice vacations north of I-10 this time of year. It's cold enough here (in the 60's with rain). If i dont find one i will check with you after the first of the new year. and thanx that is a good price.

Howard,
That sounds like an interesting project. But wouldn't you want it to match the '69?
See anything here? http://www.suttonautomotive.com/yard.asp#
Look at the lower left picture.

Vette(s): Silver 1974 Convertible - L82 4 speed
Low miles (was only 8,900 when I bought it in March 2006) - Now 54K miles. Original owner bought it as an investment for son's college expenses.

I often think the same thing. Any progress on this Howard?

Haven't had time to work it out yet (probably a winter thingy) did you see the corvette trailer in one of the vette magazines a month or so back (it was a c2 trailer i believe). but i do have all 3 vets up and running (all at the same time) this doesn't happen often.

Yes, I bought that issue just for that article.
The other thing I've been thinking is I could get one of the trailer connections for sale on e-bay (about $300), then get one of those trays you see that go into a trailer hitch, or get a bike rack that goes in a trailer hitch (or both). It would be great to be able to take bikes on a Vette trip and hit some trails along the way.

I thought I was the only one with a trailer hitch. My 78 came with a factory towing package and Ive been thinking of a small trailer to haul my bike.
