welded in cross.
not hard to convert to bolt in though. an hour with an angle grinder, a set of brackets, 5 minutes of welding, and 4 threadserts

As I might have mentioned before... I have family in Coon Rapids, MN and I spent alot of time there in my youth.
Most families have a bunch of white sheep and a few black. Mine is the opposite and I am one of the few white sheep so I actually avoid that part of the country now.

Just so happens that i am in Oklahoma quite often. I might just have to head off east and check out the frame you have. I am currently working on two 69's. One convertible, other T-top Coupe. But I have a third car (Coupe) that I bought for parts That actually may be worth rebuilding, only the frame is rotted to peices. Have to concentrate on the other two first.
