a little story about my friend selling his dream wheels. back in the early 80's he owned a 1970 chevelle SS 396-375 HP, beautiful car, medium blue with black stripes , cowl induction hood, 17,000 orgional miles not a scratch on it. It got stares from everyone where-ever he drove it. his girlfriend at the time thought is was too old of a car to drive in, hey it was 12 years old and who wwants to be seen in a car that old, so he sells it to some guy for $1700. the new owner is not used to all that power and he totals the car on his way home. My buddy is sick. the only thing left from the car is the cowl induction hood. so this guy buys a beat up, rusted out Red 1970 chevelle and puts the blue with black stripes cowl induction hood on it. we used to see this red junker with his hood on it drive by now and then and i would bug him saying " hey there's your old SS Chevelle". i don't think he ever got over it

I heard he was looking at a new V.W. bug.Don't sell it Adam you'll regret it for the rest of your life.
