I think they went to the dual snorkel on all engines in 79, but the earlier cars(L-48) had single inlets.

And, yes, all L-82s had 'luminuminum covers. Adams' Apple38944.8918402778

Vette(s): 77 L48 Original paint True dual stainless exhaust Edelbrock intake manifold and Thunder series carb Distributor has an pern upgrade

I removed mine from my L48 1977 vette when I changed carb and intake.  I know I have the air filter piece and other pieces still kicking around.  Maybe the whole setup including the piece that goes on the radiator.  Do you still need it?

Yes, I am still looking . I found one but the guy wanted $300.00 for the assy.    What I need is the piece that  goes on the radiator  and the flex hose.

I've got all three pieces  (including the piece that sit on the carb) you can have it if you want it.  I'm off next Wed and could mail it if you still need it.  Let me know.
