Cold Air Intake Wanted for 77 L82

I am looking for the air intake piece that goes from the air cleaner to the radiator support on a 77.

If you are looking for your L82 its a duel air inlet. I might have what your looking for. Dick

The air cleaner has a single outlet on it  that hooks to a plastic piece of duct that terminates  at the radiator support at the front left side of center to the best of my recollection .  Do you have any photos of the piece you have? If so... cj5nutz@yahoo.com is my address.

I really don't know, the 77 is such a weird model for a lot of things . I will do some more research.

I know it when I see it but not sure what models interchange . Here is the best photo I can find of one. You can just see the flexible duct hooking to it on the radiator support . I need that duct  and the hard plastic piece.

The L82 from 76-81 has 2 inlets, the L48 has 1 inlet.  I have the carb. base and dual inlet and right flex hose. PM me for phone #.Dick

 

I posted a  about this on a NCRS section  on another board and they came up with a photo of an all original 77 L82 with 2000 original miles on it sitting in a museum with the single snorkel like mine has now.  Let me  do a little more research and get back with you, I will keep your number . I was going to call Sunday but ended up at the County Fair watching a chainsaw contest, a tractor pull, a fiddle contest and then a bluegrass band and it was late when I got home.

that looks like one of the snorkles on my 78 pace (it has duel snorkles) i replaced mine a few years back cant remember whitout diggin through my records but i believe mine came from RICKS

 

photo is just like my 76 L48 single inlet. . i may have the plastic intake, and the flex boot is avail. from eklers, corvette america . etc.

(normally, the L82's were fitted with the finned aluminum valve covers. as were all high perf. offerings for each year)?
