Dave, do you possibly still have the cold air intake shutter door and solenoid from the front of your crossfire hood?

Yes I do, just have to find them. I'm pretty sure it's all there. I'll look for it.

Hey Dave
Eurodesk here, I had to go with a different hood on my car for
two reasons, first the stock hood with the 4" K&N filter would
not fit and even with the new hood I had to go with a thiner
K&N filter. The second reason is Your new Engine puts out
more heat so the hood I have has vents and screens in it to
let out more heat. I had a single Electric fan on my stock Engine
but when I switch to this engine it did not cool sufficiently, so I
went to a BeCool system with dual fans. Your stock Radiator
my not be sufficient enough to cool your new power plant.
I would check it out while you have the car apart.

Eurodesk- Is that why you got the new AC?

thanks for the info Marion. I know guys have installed the ZZ4 with the stock hood, I'll find out when it's in there. Same with the heat.
Take care,
Dave

For the air cleaner you can use a drop base. I've seen the plate in Summit. Ken (lost in the 60s) used one on his metal bumper '70 ? I think.

Hi DaveW
Yes is the answer to the question, and the car is running cooler
then ever, although I also put in a new core while the
A/C was components were apart, and as I said before the temp
never go's past 190 degrees now matter what. Love it
