Vette(s): '75 Stingray Coupe - 350 Bored, Edelbrock Alum. Heads, Performer Intake/ Carb., Harland Sharp Roller Rockers, MSD Ign., XE Comp. Cam, Pete Jackson Gear Drive, Hooker Headers, Side Pipes, TH400, 3000 RPM Stall and 3.55 Rear Gears
I Almost bought '64 1/2 Mustang Conv. one time, but I try to be a loyal Chevy owner. I did buy a '72 Ford Super Cab (BIG RED- loved it)one time, with the police interceptor engine, sold it and bought a '67 Camaro.
A guy at work bought a new Mustang Gt, I have to admit I am curious how well I can run against him. I noticed the Mustang is around 3,400 Lbs., which surprised me. I hear they are pretty quick.
Kerry - how do you think the Stang will stack up against the Stingrays?

I'm not a racer, so I don't know. This is my first venture into Ford territory, so it's a step into the unknown. I was sold on the retro looks and performance features of the new Mustang GT, plus I wanted something "brand new". The new Mustang GT is very affordable. We'll see what happens. The C3 will always be my all-time favorite car, but I have had three of them now. At 50 years of age, time to try something new...
