Does anyone have a nonworking 78/early79 power antenna that you don't need lying around any longer? I also need the mounting brackets and ESPECIALLY the plastic insert that fits into the fender hole from the top. I'm wanting to replace an aftermarket antenna that is in the car. Any individual pieces would also help. There are 2 brackets, L shaped one and a larger bracket that may be attached to the tube. Email with any prices. Thanks. Mike

Boatman, will wait, see if it gets relisted so I'll have time to ask if he has any additional mounting hardware for it. The brackets and plastic grommit are the most important parts to me right now. Thanks Mike

You can go into history/past post and find the item, then contact the seller and still buy it. I did this with a rear window for my C3.

Ken, did it. Asked him if he had all the bracketry and the grommit. Hope I hear back. Mike

Well, with some help from Boatman I have been able to acquire everything but the plastic slip in bezel for my 78. If anyone has one still lying around after replacing your broken antenna please email me. Will pay $$$. This is a one year item(OK 1 1/2 year). If you have a 78 you know what I'm talking about. I will also be selling a late79-82 Delco "service part" antenna when I get the bezel for my 78. This is a Delco antenna, not exactly as original but an EXACT BOLT IN. Just unplug your cables, remove and replace. Has been on my 78 SA since probably the mid 80's but with only 1480 miles on the Vette I assure you it looks brand new. Will offer it here before it goes on Ebay. Mike

Greenwood Chevrolet in or near Cleveland OH was advertising Corvette parts including the antenna on E-bay. You might find them with Yahoo yellow pages and contact them directly. Worth a shot.

Ken, I've seen some of their listings, will give a look, but through my local Chevy parts contact I found out the part was discontinued in 99. Pretty sure used is the only way I'll find one. Have a few emails out to various Ebay sellers but nothing yet. Mike
