Hi Guys I am looking for a working second hand speedo out of a 78/79 that goes up to 220MPH to put in my 82 having a speedo that only shows 85MPH looks stupid in a V8 I live in Australia & there is not a lot of places to get second hand parts.

Send me a picture of your dash so I know what shape speedo you're looking for. I've not done any research on this, but I'm also fairly sure that the speedos never went higher than 160mph. I work at a junkyard so I'll look into it for you if you can send me a dash picture. paragon75ray@hotmail.com

160mph speedo goes to 260kph. So we're still in the dark as to what he wants. Unless he's looking for a 140mph? But no...140mph is halfway between 220 and 230kph... so I guess... could be looking for a 140mph. 220mph is overkill anyway, a Viper or Murcialgo doesn't reach 220. My 75 won't break 120 down a hill. Get back to us with what you're looking for and I'll open my peepers. Until then.
