From personal experience on looking to get a car at a great price and restore it: RUN, RUN REALLY FAST AWAY FROM IT!!!!
I am doing one now that I will have more money in it than what its ever going to be worth.
I am having fun doing mine, but I wish I would have bought one in really good shape already done because the parts to restore one will eat into your wallet! Just My Opinion! I would never go this way again.
But keep in mind, anything can be redone if thats what you want to do.

Yes he is ill, after he realized what it was going to take to fix it up.
Like others, I have one that will take more than it will ever be worth to get it to showroom condition, but I enjoy working on it and driving it So there is some personal satisfaction in knowing every part on your car.
