Got an e-mail from a friend with a '72 for sale. (I hope this is not against the rules of posting "For Sale" items.) At this time, the photo link is not working. I will contact, and see whazzup! 
"Selling my 72 corvette stingray convertible. 89k orgional miles. Matching numbers, Rare color: Pewter silver, Black soft top, Automatic, Air, PS, PB, PW TT Wheel. AMFM. Deluxe leather interior. I have had it for 4 years after buying it from the orgional owners father. It has never been in an accident.
I have orgional Carb and AC compressor, orgional alternator still on car. It has been repainted the orgional color when i purchased it. All chrome still good. Will need seats redone as the stitching is comming apart. driver great.
Now the problem area, the battery box, as the orgional owner had a battery installed and whoever did it installed it lying down which spilled the acid out eating a hole in the battery box bottom. I have placed metal under the battery which has held and have a box cut out from another C3 to make repairs.
I am selling my C3 as I have been disabled from a auto accident and cannot make repairs myself and I want someone who realy cares for these fine cars to enjoy it as much as I have and not just see it sit in my garage. Vette(s): 1979, 350sb, as my kids affectionately call it "shit brown" Corvette purchased in 1996. 84,000+ miles. Not a show car, but I love her just the same.
This car looks familiar. Garry was a member of this forum in previous times wasn't he? Sorry to hear he is not able to enjoy his Vette anymore. I am sure he will have no problems finding a buyer. Sweet car!
