this may just be my pessimism talking.. but its been my experience with vettes that your gonna pay what its worth (and probably much more) to get it in decent shape..
ie a 5K$ 69 vette (base model worth appx 15K in good condition) needs at least 10K$ worth of work..
a 10K vette needs as least 5K etc..
the worst thing about a bargain is getting what you pay for.

Your right Ben. I paid 3350. for mine, but look at the work it needs. My big advantage is I don't pay labor, and my parts are wholesale. That saves a lot. So mine will be less invested, unless you count sweat.
