I actually have a new set ordered for the 77.
You guys might think me crazy but, I put on new tires every couple of years. I just ordered a set of 255/60/15 s. I will be selling my old set which by the way still look almost new , really good tread still left for $200.00 for the set. I don't ship and I don't deliver, but they will be sitting here in the garage probably next week. 
I honestly don't think they have ever been dirty 
I am running the Goodyears on the 71, probably next year on those.

OH ! Your breakin my heart Scott. Been runnin Goodyears on the '81 and I've never been happy. They're about gone and I was looking for a set of those. Times are hard

I put a set of the Indy 500 255-60-15s Firehawks on our '78 pace a few weeks ago. Only have a few miles on it so far. Biggest complaint is that my NEW tires are over 6 years old. Saw the DOT stamping while cleaning the tires last week. Tire store is looking into it.
