Looking to find and buy a 1994 polo green vette I owned when I lived in Florida. Bought it new in Delray Beach, Florida in 1994 and sold it around 1997 thru a consignment dealer in Pompano Beach. The vin # was 1G1YY22P1R5111909. Thanks

I just checked my VIN and it is not the same as the one you are looking for.  I purchased my Polo Green Coupe in May, with 87K on the clock.  Good car, needs some TLC and will be good as new.  Your car was about 1000 newer than mine.  Was kinda hoping it was yours, I wouldn't have sold it to you but I would love to get some history on it.

           Sorry I never got back to you. Long story. I have a 94 Torch Red one now, but always remembered  my Polo green one. Still would like to find it.   My opinion the C-4 is the best looking of all the years, except  for the Mid Year models and the 1962. Enjoy your car.

Not sure what Florida allows, but I would think you could file a request with the Office of "Titles and Registrations" which shoud tell you who owns it now. (or if you know a local cop that could run it though NICIC.)

I just pulled carfax reports for several cars.  It doesn't list any personal information.  It will tell you the city where the car has been registered though.
