Vette(s): 1981 Red/Silver Coupe
CONSISTENT SHOW WINNER.......

1981 Corvette Coupe. Red/Silver with Red interior. It is a show winner,BUT it is a driver. Everything from the radiator to the rear differential was rebuilt in August 1999, just prior to being driven in the 1999 NCM caravan.
The motor, although appears stock, has been modified. It is the original motor, but was rebuilt by Classic Car Racing in Fort Worth,Texas.
It is NOT a hotrod. It has TRW flat top pistons and Dart Iron Eagle heads. The transmission was built by Phoenix transmission in Weatherford, Texas. Motor/transmission has approx 8k miles. The wheels are ULTRA (8 1/2" x 15")with BFG (255/60R15) tires.

The car was featured in the March 2000 issue of the online magazine 'Corvette Magazine' at http://www.corvettemagazine.com/2000/march/81/81p1.asp

The car was featured in December 2000 on the Shark Tank website. It won 'Shark of the Year' award.
The car is in the Mid-America Designs 2001 Calendar (month of March) There is a picture in the March 2001 issue of Vette Magazine for the Eureka Springs Arkansas event. There is a picture in the August 2001 issue of Vette Vues for the Texas Motor Speedway event.
