Check the internet browser settings on your computer. It is possible that something is set there that is hiding the links.

Another possibility could be the Windows color palette. If the color set for the links text is the same as message background the links will appear to be "invisible". If you move the mouse pointer around on the page and it changes shape in the "middle of no-where" then that's very likely what is happening.
