Vette(s): Used to own a 1979 Corvette now owned by JB79
Listing this for a co-worker.  Any interest?

-------
1968 L79 Black on Black Convertible w/soft & hard tops

Third owner has had the vette garage kept since 1990.  The original paint was 983 British Green.  The first owner had it painted black.  The odometer stopped working but the speedometer works.  The mileage currently reads 63,000.  Estimated additional 2,000 miles on it since the odometer broke.   The battery has been dying if you leave it sit for awhile.  The softop has a little worn spot in it.  Has a few stress cracks.   It came with a luggage rack which was not put on correctly, the holes did not line up correctly.  It was taken off a few years ago and the vette has four holes in the back where it supposed to go.  Still have the rack.

The engine runs perfect.  The frame is in great condition.   The vacuum hidden windshield wipers, headlights, and fiber optics still work.  Interior is in good condition except the driver seat is a little worn and the plastic on the back of the seats is cracked.

Numbers match, L79 327/350 4 speed.  Power steering, power brakes.   Original radio and steering wheel.  Comes with Black Hard Top. Soft top is white.

Asking $25,900

Vette(s): 1979, Targa Blue (72 Color), Pace Car rear spoiler, L88 hood, Dark blue factory interior, 525HP 406, HD 700R4, 370 gears,Steeroids, composite rear spring, TT IIs wrapped in T/A Radials.

Adam,  Nice bumper car with a lot of potential. Although I think his price is on the high side as the car needs all the paintwork and top replaced before even digging into the interior, chassis, drivetrain, etc...

Hope you don't mind the opinion.

British Green with a Black interior? Hmmm...that sounds interesting. Most green cars had saddle(tan) or green interiors. Don't have a book handy, but I would venture to say that that combo might be fairly rare(comparatively)....but it may not be, either. The color change will hurt the value, in any case.
I agree that the price might be a smidge too high, but I have to assume he will dicker with a potential buyer?(not me...I can't afford to pay attention....)
