I went and had my hair cut short today! I had gone and dusted off the Vette a coupla days ago and the fever to drive her hit....HARD! So I decided to take a page out of the Blasberry vettes drivers book and cut my hair so I can drive with the tops off and still be stylish
when I get out of the car!
This winter is draggggggggging! I want out with my car

This weekend I also had my haircut. Now I'm ready to cruise and not let those strands of hair sting my eyes! I'm loving these sunny weekends!

Vette(s): 1979 red - oyster leather trim.
I never considered my baldness as an advantage for driving my Vette before, but now that I read those postings.... I took my Vette out on Saturday for a first drive after a never-ending winter. Sunday, winter was back so the Vette is safely in the garage....

Not that much hair here. Less than there was 20 years ago, but I have it cut the same way. I don't understand.....

hey Ken, how'd you keep so much hair with a daughter? I have a pet theory about the little darlings. "Dads are just practice".......... and ya wouldn't have it any other way.

Hank, it got thinner with the first daughter, now married and a high school english teacher. The 14 year old is possibly going to make me a true chrome dome by the time she reaches adulthood. Good kid, but a real challange. I told her when she gets to high school and want to really have an impressive date, she can take the Celebrity, she's not driving the Vette!
The oldest one now can come in handy. About a week ago in an evening class some of my students challenged me on a test question saying it meant something other than what I said it did. They had gotten it wrong. They never challange me when they get it right. I pulled out my cell phone in front of the class, called my oldest, the english teacher, and asked her. Then I put one of them on the phone to hear it themselves. Dear old Dad, and the stubborn instructor was right. Sorry class, you still got it wrong.

Come and live in Alice Springs in the middle of Oz. You can drive all year round with the tops off....
It's winter now and I am still using the A/C in my regular rides.
