Don't have rain huh...how about 1 1/2 inches in a day and half? That's alot for us. It's been cold ever since. Only in the mid 60's this whole week. And what did I do in all the heavy rain? Help lead 10 club members down to L.A. to the Petersen for the big 50th party. Put it this way, I was told to "stay in Jeff's tracks". Well, more than once, his ride, a '74, was throwing a dang wake like a boat! Good thing Steve was with me. It was really hard to see once we got down to the 405 and there was more spray from more cars. The worst part was going down there and seeing all the crashed cars. Like every 10 min. Steve was pointing one out. Including a totally spun silver C5 and a black pony with it's rear wheels on top of that concrete divider thing in the center. Yikes! Once we got there, it was rainy and wet, but a ton of fun! Got to meet one of the mikes from here and his girl so that was really cool.
I passed out over 50 VetteRegistry.net flyers!

ok i've been driving my vette around like it's my job all last week. now i've been laid off cuz it's raining here and windy and ca-ca like 
hope to have my JOB back by the weekend! even my baby is crying...she was all tuned up and had her seatbelts fixed kinda like all dressed up and nowhere to go!oh well i guess i'll have to just keep reading my haynes manual and drive the soccer van

In the same boat, weather, Ian has been covered up in the garage this summer more than ever, cause Colleen will not take her Baby out in the rain either. But it turned out a good thing, the front wheel bearings need regreasing and a lot of driving may have ruined them without knowing till too late. NYS inspection turned it up for us.
