I'll keep on going til I get my RN. Just wanted a little support and some of my vette friends to tell me I'm not to old for this
Besides I need a better job because I want to get the vette painted next year

Hey Ann,I'm not one of the ladies but you have my support all the same.As far as keeping up with the youngsters don't worry about that, your superior wisdom, and motivation(painting the vette) will keep you far ahead.I wish you all the luck I can muster.

You picked a very rewarding career....my wife's an RN and as zany and crazy as the floor can get in a shift, she wouldn't do anything else for a living. She works maternity, says she wants to see'em check in instead of out (previous gig was intensive care). She was an LPN a long time before she got her registry so don't get caught up in the age thing. She said study partners are the best way to get through some of the courses (anatomy/phys., bio-chem., etc.), but once you get to your clinicals, it'll be some semblance of what it's really like to be a nurse. Good luck!

Are you going to the U of R? Or one of the other great schools in our area?
You will do fine, just don't try to party all night with the youngsters
