Dave, that's awful.  I have a good friend that was born in Goodlettsville, TN.

No joke, thank God you, your family & cars are ok!

I heard there's a lot of construction on 40 and one other main freeway.......I hope it's over by June 21st.

Mick,

I-40 is not too bad through Nashville now. There is a road widening project going on just east of town, but it is not even that bad there even during rush hour. There has been non-stop construction all around town for the past 25 years, kinda getting used to it.

Cat's parents live in Good'ville and their power has been out all week. They checked into a motel in Nashville.

No, that's supposed to be "Otis", the C5.  Your too funny!!   Otis is black on black.

Have you ever sat in a Viper?  Not as comfortable as a Vette and really cheap interior.  I was disappointed.

Vette(s): 1975 C3 Red, T-Tops, Black Interior. All I need is time and money! Getting there!
I have driven a Viper.  Very impressive car, but I think the interior was designed to punish the driver.   The pedal position is odd.  Not enough room, and bad layout in general.   The sun visior was worthless.  It was up, or blocking your vision and need to go back up. I understand the newer versions are better.  I drove the first coupe version.   But dispite the poor driver accomidations, you don't really notice the problems when you get on that rascal.  It will get the blood pumping.     LOTS of FUN to drive.kstyer38821.3946296296

My husband said it wasn't good, so I was thinking that when we leave out of Texas for PF it would be wise to start fairly early for a good head start.

Tell Cat that I hope her parents get back into their house soon with power.  The friend I know from Good'ville, her last name is French.

I sat in the Viper during the Fair.....sitting in it wasn't exciting, but the driving would probably put a grin on my face!   Then, I went to the C6 and sat in it.......comfortable and all controls can be reached easy......I would probably have an even bigger grin on my face if I drove it!

Saw the Shelby at the Auto Show.......SWEET!!!  Me like!

I too drove the first version Viper coupe on a hot August day about 7 - 8 years ago, what a badass ride, absolutely BRUTAL. I never noticed anything wrong with the interior. I was totally absorbed with the roar of the pipes and pouring sweat with the windows down to listen. I went around a 90 degree turn and stood on it just a little, the thing went down the road sideways for about 1/8th mile smoking the meats. LUVVIT!!!!

Barry, what size Vipers do they have in Belgium??? Maybe better yet... what size ponies???

Dave
