with the password changing with each issue of shark bites how can we go back to review previous issues without having a notebook of passwords?

Download each (new)issue to your computer, and rename the file using the password as the new file name. That's how I keep up with them. Then I transfer them to disc.
As far as previous issues, you might sweet-talk another member out of the p-word,
or, just contact Adam.
I think, if you look at the S/B page, you can have the p-word e-mailed to you.
For example:
Vol 1, Issue 3: Autumn 2003 (size: 540kb) Email me Password for this issue
Vol 1, Issue 2: Summer 2003 (size: 345kb) Email me Password for this issue
Vol 1, Issue 1: Winter 2003 (size: 478kb) Email me Password for this issue
only available for Gold/Lifetime membersAdams' Apple 38930.2894444444

in theory your suggestion works, but here in the swamps with dial-up and bad comunication lines from katrina this would now be a lifetime project. i believe we need a section set aside to store the back issues with one password that could be changed by the administrator and members with authority to view be given the new back issue password.

There's an idea...
I have dial-up, also, but...not the damaged com lines. It takes only about 1 min or less for me to d-load the issues. The idea of archiving the back issues under one p-word might be feasable.

What if I created a link on the SB page that would email you ALL the passwords at once, instead of having to select an email for each issue?

All the back issues are already online. You just have to have each password emailed to you separately. I will work on a feature to email you the entire list at once.

Ok... take a look at the "INSTRUCTIONS" section on the Shark Bytes download page for a new link "click here if you would like a list of all passwords sent to you in one email."
Enjoy!
Enjoy!
