Adam, received the shirt today. Looks great, THANK YOU!

Now I need to buy a Vette so I can wear it (LOL). I've been looking all over the net; eBay, Traderonline, Pro-Team ($$ ching!), Hawks, C'nV, etc., etc., etc. Can't find what I want for the right $.

In a perfect world I'd find a '70 LT1 Coupe in Laguna Grey with 4-spd. Numbers right, pretty clean, under 75k for under $20k. Think I'm dreaming? If anyone has any ideas on where to look all leads are appreciated.

Until then I ride the 9-second Hayabusa for fun.

Thanks again Adam!

Bob

Hiya,
Corvettes at Carlisle is practically right around the corner. They have tons of cars for sale every year. It may be worth the trip.

I agree with Glenn!! Carlisle is awesome! If you know what you are looking for and have done your homework, you can find some great deals there!

Stay away from the dealers. They are usually WAAAAYYYYY overpriced! Buy from an individual. Take cash if possible! I did this at Carlisle and got an incredible deal!!!!

BTW, I am always looking, so if I find a 70 LT1 in Laguna Gray I'll let you know!!

Good luck with the search!

Congratulations !!! Since your wife will be in the hospital for a day or two, you should have no trouble hopping a plane to check out the Vettes ! Just kidding :-) My wife's birthday is 8/20/???? You will have to look around for Corvette baby blankets !

Well Glenn, Mark, Adam it's time to resurrect this thread.........

I purchased a '70 convertible, L46 350/350 with an M21 4-spd. Monza red with black top and black leather. A pretty nice driver, I'll post pics after I go out to San Diego and trailer her back.

Thanks for the advice and support.

Bob

You just can not possibly go wrong with a red corvette with black interior and black top, not that I am predjudiced toward that combination |smile| . Good luck with the new toy.
