Tried to upload some new photos into my personal file folder tonight. One was 268 kb and the other was 273 kb. Neither would upload, got an error message saying the file was too large. According to the instructions I should be able to upload photos up to 500 kb in size, so what am I doing wrong?

The specs do say a 500kb max, but I have yet to be able to upload much more than about 125kb at a time. I wind up having to shrink photos to about 75% on average, depending on the starting size. Is there a discrepancy in the upload size according to dial-up or high-speed access? Adam? Norsky?
Even at a smaller size, tho, the pics I am able to upload are still viewable just fine.

I could probably sacrifice some resolution and get larger photos up, but if I should be able to upload 500kb files, why can't I?
