Vette(s): 1979, 350sb, as my kids affectionately call it "shit brown" Corvette purchased in 1996. 84,000+ miles. Not a show car, but I love her just the same.
No offense Adam, because you do such a spectacular job with this website that I'm afraid to state how I feel about this feature, but I find it to be quite cumbersome, with long waits between selections of State, Town and Vendor.
Don't know if it is possible to combine all this information into more readily accessible links. For instance if you pull up the State you are looking for and have a full list of links come up that would list each Town followed by a sublisting of the Vendors submitted for that town.
Sort of like:
Your Search for State brings up:
State (in bold letters and maybe large font)
Town (in bold but smaller font)
Vendor 1 (each of these links direct to info as input by member)
Vendor 2
Vendor 3
This way once you search on a State, you only have to make one other link to actually call up the Vendor you are looking for.
Also, for those of us who do not have any reliable vendors listed (yet) and would perhaps be willing to travel to another state in their region, is there some way we can either hook up to Mapquest within our site, or some other mapping system, to see where they are geographically located in the state? This might make these types of decisions easier.
Just my two cents. Hope I haven't offended. Like I say the site is great and I for one appreciate the effort you put into it.

Those are good ideas!
I will see what I can do to make it less time consuming.
And I like the idea of linking it to a mapping system.
I can definately do that.
When I get some time, I'll work on it.
Also, never hesitate to offer suggestions... I wind up implementing most of them!
Thanks!
UPDATE 12/6/02: I have added a link to Yahoo! Maps for all the mechanics.
