I know you're looking at putting a link to the live chat somewhere, but in the meantime, would it be possible to change the link on the Community menu to open the Live Chat in a new window? Right now it doesn't (unless you right mouse click and select "Open in new window").
If you forget to do that you lose your Forum window. Then when you log off the Chat you're also logged off the Forum.
