Hey, did everyone just get kicked off the site? There were 6 users online, and then it showed me "logged off", and the users was 0!! Was it just me, or did something happen? It was at 11.13pm here.

"Loser"??
Ok, I'll give you that, but it still doesn't answer my question...

Norbert, lets just say, I'm old enough to know better...

I did get a report that the site reset itself at 12:13pm ET.  It does happen occasionally and I have never been able to figure out why.  Usually it is because something overloads the system so it resets itself to recover.  I haven't been able to figure out if it is the website code, internet software, or the hardware that is the problem.  It's not easy to track down.

If anyone knows about website administration via IIS, and could give me some insight as to why this may be happening, please let me know.

What version of IIS?

IIS is a service just like Indexing or TCP client.

Are you using ASP.NET also?  We use them in conjunction for an application we have...

[/QUOTE]

It is version IIS 6.0.
All the code on the site is currently "classic" ASP.

Thanx, Adam! That means it wasn't just me.
Like I said, there were only SIX of us on here at the time, and I was able to get right back on.

Check the simple things first. Look at the Event Logs to make sure there's nothing bad there - such as NIC issues or a faulting application or service. Here's a link that will help you step through some more advanced troubleshoting if it looks like the web server (IIS) is the problem. http://www.microsoft.com/technet/prodtechnol/WindowsServer20 03/Library/IIS/dd07e7b2-d946-4a21-8805-8b60c62b479e.mspx?mfr =true
