I sent a couple of messages in IM to people who I'm guessing aren't on the Forum any longer (or they just don't want to respond me

Whatever the reason, the "TO" messages have been in my IM going back to October last year. Is there anyway to clear those out? I've clicked on the "Delete TO messages" but they won't delete because they haven't read them.
