That happens to me once in a while I just sign out and sign back in and everything works.

That used to happen quite regularly to me, but Adam altered the time allowed between posts, and I haven't gotten that message in several years.
It occurs when you post several posts in a short amount of time, such as(but not limited to) welcoming New Members using copy/paste. I would guess it was just a brain fart on the part of the software....

Another reason you could get that message is if you "accidentally" hit the "Post Reply" button twice when posting.

Or....Stop posting so much spam!!!!

Seriously, though, it was likely a glitch or an accident like Joel is suggesting. If it keeps happening, let me know.
I think I (and we) have had enough with the problems on this forum software. I've been looking into replacement options. As you know, it is mostly a matter of time to get 'er done for me.
Stick with us, we'll make it better.

It's happened to me once or twice, I just ignore it. I guess that's one of my problems. I'm sure you'll get it fixed, Adam. It's just a good thing you're not having ME fix it!

Sometimes I get confused(who, ME?), or in a hurry, and I'll double-click on the Post Reply box, instead of just clicking once. I always get the Error message when I do that....that's why I brought that up.
Just another one of the quirks...
