Adam, I'm gettin hammered with e-mail notifications of responses to forum topics. I am NOT "Watching" any forums, other than the Mod forum, which I am NOT getting notices on, even tho I am "Watching" that one. Today, I am getting an e-mail for ever reply on the topic "Detail oriented, or OCD?" topic, but the "Notify me by email if replies are made to this message." box is/was NOT checked, and in the upper left, it says "Watch this Topic", not "Un-watch this Topic". I have been getting notices for other topics/forums, too, that I did not "Watch"....
HELP!

Exact opposite for me, not getting any notifications of posts to threads I am "watching".

Yep, I know exactly what your talking about. I started a thread last week about replies end up in email. Any thread I start all replies are being sent to my email. I havent seen any real answer to stop this from happening. But I am hoping soon someone will know how to stop it.

I'm wondering if it is something that automatically sends the thread starter/author e-mail notices, regardless of the box being checked, or the "Watch this topic" button being clicked....
I got some e-mails last week on threads that were fairly old, but had been posted to recently....of course, I just delete them on sight, so I don't even remember what they were about... Ouch
