Ok, I finally found the answer. Evidently it's a Spyware/Adware issue as programs such as Norton Internet Security and Spy Sweeper, both of which I run, block url's with tags such as "qksrv,comission junction,& mediaplex" from viewing and you get the unavailable message instead. I had to edit a file called hosts in the "windows\system32\drivers\etc" folder and wipe out references to above. The auctions then appeared normally. I don't know when or how this file is created but once there disabeling or turning off security, pop-up & Ad blocking have no effect. I noticed upon exiting a msg from spy sweeper that tracking cookies had been removed from mediaplex and qksrv. Thanks to all that tried to help.
