I do'nt know if I am the only one or not, sometimes it takes 2or3 times to log in and get into the forums, then when I do get to the forum section ,and pick one ,for example ENGINES,and wait for it too come up so I can check out the different topics, I will click on it,and nothing will happen.then I click my BACK button ,reclick on Engines ,wait again, sometimes I get in sometimes not.It happens on all different subjects. Is this just me or is anybody else having these problems ?

The only problem I have had is when I click the link in my e-mail notifications it won't link up to the forum. It links to the redirect page and just keeps clicking, but that may be on my end.None of the problems you mentioned though.

It takes a long time for some of the pages to load for me; sometimes 2min. or more, but I just assumed it was my p.o.s. modem The posts that have a lot of replys take forever to load.

Ron, are you still experiencing the time lag in accessing the forums?  The switch to the new forum-ware has introduced a secondary login which has added an additional step to the process of getting to the list of forums.  But once there the performance of the site should be as good or better than the old software was.

btw - you should not need to log in and out of the site as you described above.  The hop to the forums list page will vary by the type of internet connection you have.  High-speed users should see virtually no delay while dialup users will get to know the details of the intermediate page fairly well (meaning it will take a few seconds).

Jules,

Try logging into the site before clicking on the e-mail notification link.  Adam had mentioned a problem with the e-mail notifications a while back and I don't know if he has resolved it yet.

Joel,

Being on a dialup connection at home I feel your pain.  Long threads, especially those with large photos embedded in them, are particularily painful to wait for.  If I have a lot of reading to get caught up on I'll open another window and have two (or more) forum sessions going at once.  That way I can be reading one thread while another is loading.

I continue to have problems "SEEING THE ENTIRE E-MAIL" notifications
I get FOR FORUM UPDATES.....

For example...my e-mail notification I received this morning

ONLY contained the following

The entire rest of the message is completely blank....

I have changed HTML settings and nothing works...

As it is now the notifications on Forum Updates are
              COMPLETELY USELESS....

Sorry for bitching BUT since the software switch I find myself NOT

when they come out I am afraind I will NEVER visit the site

At this point I am thinking I threw away my money becoming a
