Here is a notice from my hosting company regarding possible down time on July 1st:
| This email is to notify you of some hardware upgrades scheduled for the server your site is currently using. This upgrade is scheduled to begin on Thursday evening July 1st at approximately 8:00 PM PDT (GMT -7). The reason for this change is to transition your server to newer hardware to better prepare for a future upgrade of our network to a centralized file storage system. While this upgrade is necessary and will prove beneficial to you and your web site, you may experience approximately 20 minutes of downtime as that is the time required to make this hardware change. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but please be aware that these changes are for the ultimate benefit of all customers as we continue to improve upon our network infrastructure. |
