Passing of Member: leemcglam

I just received word that one of C3VR's Members, leemcglam (Benny McGlamery), passed away in November.

The Corvette Community, C3VR & most importantly, Benny's family have lost a loved one.

I would like to propose that we come together as members of a club Benny belonged to and take up a collection to send to his family for use however they see fit... medical bills, past or future expenses, etc.

I will take the collection and send it to his family on everyone's behalf, along with a letter of condolence.

These people were kind enough to donate as little as $5 and as much as $100 for a total of $300 that will be sent to Benny's family.

A letter is being sent to Valerie on behalf of the contributing members along with the checks today.

I received a really nice thank you card from Valerie last week. I was really touched and felt very good about being able to help out. Thanks for the opportunity. It's great to be a part of such a class organization.
