Hey Gang,
The Events Calendar has been updated with a new "State Code". As you all know events listed in the calendar in any state of the U.S. will get an e-mail reminder generated and sent out to members in the region the week prior to and the week of the event. In order to receive these reminders go to your main C3VR member profile page (My Profile) and make sure the box next to the Privacy Option labeled "Don't Send Me Event Updates*" does not have a check mark in it. Our apologies to those members who live outside of the U.S. as this feature currently does not generate e-mails to you.
The new state code 'NA' will generate an e-mail that will be sent to members in all regions who have selected to receive these e-mail updates. So if there is a general event (like the monthly C3VR Chat Night) you would like to be reminded of submit it using the state code of 'NA'. Please be sure to include the city and state where the event is actually occuring in the description of the event. (Thanks Adam for 'tweaking' some program code to make this functional...!!!)
