As C3VR continues to get busier, I feel there is a need to have two moderators for most of the forums.

Therefore, there are openings for moderators of the following forums:
* C3 Electrical
* C3 Cooling and Heating Systems
* C3 Fuel, Emission Control, and Exhaust Systems
* C3 Handling Components

Here is what I expect of my Moderators:

1) Make sure posts do not have offensive content.
2) Make sure posts are in the right place.
3) Be active.
4) Be helpful.
5) Promote us.
6) Check in often.

It is helpful, but not necessary, if you know at least a little about the topic for which you'd be moderating.

If you are interested in a being a moderator here on C3VR, please either reply to this message, or shoot me an email to: adam@VetteRegistry.net, and specify which forum(s) you'd be interested in.

If it's "cool" with everyone, I'd like to take a shot at moderator for Driveline Components.

Adam, could you please tell me what this involves time wise? Like, how often do mod's check their sections? I may be interested, but not sure till I find out how much time all this hard work takes. :) There are some times, like during show season, that my time is booked on the weekends between detailing and show day. And that don't include my club activities and work. lol I'm interested in one of the "open" sections, but may take say Interior cuz it's less busy and because I need help with mine. lol Thanks for the opportunity to help out. I'll think about it once I get your input and let you know.

Darla, I know your question was aimed at Adam, but since i got here first I'll reply. I'm the mod of two sections, and I have busy "seasons" the last few weeks before projects and exams are always extremely tough for me to accomplish outside "fun" things. (Being a mod is fun! :) I've just left a post letting the mods know and someone has always been willing to cover, same with vacations etc. The Moderators are a great group of people and everyone chips in to make the forum work as we can. I for one think Sarge and Darla would both make great mods!

Sarge - *POOF* You're a moderator! I assigned you to Driveline Components as you requested.

Darla - *POOF* You too are now a moderator! I assigned you to Interior as you requested.

You both now also have access to the "Moderator's Discussion" forum. Please take a look over there to catch up on any Moderator Business you should be aware of.

Thank you both for helping out!

If anyone else is interested in becoming a Moderator, please see the list at the top of this page to see which forums are still in need.

Holy cow Adam! That'll teach me to go to sleep! Poof! I'm a moderator! lol Thanks Adam! I'm working today for a friend, so I'll read up tonight when it's quiet around here. Hey, I'm going to add this to my "member spotlight" that I'm doing for the club newsletter! Way cool! Luckily this won't be too hard for me, the folks on here rarely flame each other and when they do, it's all in fun. I dig this place alot more than any other forum.
